I decided to take a step back and look at my panoramic images with the macro lens... i was unsure how to move forward. I asked a few people around me what they thought and i got some good feed back!
Some people said that they look like paintings, i thought this was interesting but others said they looked like landscapes or reminded them of memories or objects. I liked the idea of this and decided to rotate some of them to look more like landscapes or scenes and let people see what they see in them...
With this one i got a lot of people saying it looks like hills and the sky or the ocean with waves coming over it, i decided to flip it around and edit the contrast and highlight.
I like this flipped around and i can see it is easy to see landscapes in this i decided to continue...
This one i liked both ways but i did edit the contrast to make it a bit easier to see the overlapping colour and texture in this.
I think this is interesting, i did not get a lot of feedback on what people could see in it but it was a lot of peoples favourite of the images i showed them.
I am happy with these images. I really like the idea of everyone having a different reaction to them and being able to see things in it.
I think that is normal for more abstract art. the mind wants to make sense of what it is seeing!
This really helped me because i felt a little stump on how to progress this image i am thinking of doing a collage of these in a food diary kind of thing. What i eat in a day or a week and take macro panoramic images of them then collage them all together.
