My class and me went to the Haining in Hawick again, this time to join some artists attending a workshop on reflections. We started by touring the grounds again and I decided to take some photos as it was a really nice, sunny day.
We then went back to the building and were shown a bit of glass work, I decided to play around with the glass cutting into it and making marks on glass. I decided to play around with it and use it to take photos, I held it up against the light...
and coloured glass...
And the window...
Then when we were leaving I noticed another artists projecting his photographs on the walls so I tried to take photos of them through the glass I made, I found this quite interesting.
I then went outside and used to again on landscapes and another class mate.
It was quite fun doing this, I liked helping and talking to the other artists. I don't think I will work again with glass anytime soon as it was very tricky. But I did manage to find my interest in it! Sometimes I find that hard to do, so that's good.
